The new motorized laptop brings a revolution to your personalized computer

With the Motorized Laptop, never again would you have to make manual adjustments to the screen. The whole concept has been devised by designer Tobias Toft, who designed this ingenious idea for his final project at CIID.

By fitting in a motorized device into the laptop, Toft has been able to control the angle of the lid, making it open and close automatically. This is not all, for he has even installed an Arduino board within the computer’s machinery, which has further been coupled up with a Servomotor letting the computer do wonders. The motherboard of the laptop and the motor make the contraption do wonders. This piece of machinery has been rigged in such a way that it brings about a revolution in the way technology has been modified to serve our needs.

The whole programming has been done on the Open Frameworks software and it allows the laptop to automatically figure out the position of the user. In turn, the webcam and the microphone of the computer move the lid around by judging the position of the user’s face. The touch sensor’s make the experience all the more lightheaded and interesting. The creativity of the designer reflects in every bit of the designing involved and makes everything stand out in the best of ways. Via: Portfolio

Electrolux concept laptop is also a stove

Electrolux has a Design contest every year, and I take it that they just love concept designs. This laptop is one of the more unusual ones.I don’t know how practical it is, and you can see how easy it is to describe.

It is a laptop that has a stove on it, for crying out loud. The first thing I could think of was “where is the keyboard”? I was guessing that it needed a separate keyboard, preferably wireless. Yet I have heard that it has touchscreen computer touch controls. You better make sure the burner is off before you start to type.

I have to admit that I like the idea of a stove laptop. I have gone to many conferences, and I wouldn’t mind cooking my own meals instead of eating the high-priced meals around the conferences. The designer, Dagan Trenchevski, has stated that this is exactly what this is supposed to do, and it is good for campers as well.

I don’t know how the battery can work with the burner on. Also, if you shut this thing while the burner is on, will the screen melt? I’m not looking forward to 911 calls where someone says: “I burnt my hand on my laptop!”

Swarovski Computer – Most Expensive Laptop

Actually, most expensive laptop ever must be not only Swarovski-studded, but also made of gold, encrusted here and there with expensive diamonds, with the display all made of sapphire crystal, just like we’ve been accustomed by the luxury cell phone manufacturers.Talking about expensive laptop, here you have a relevant example that might horrify you, so you’d better be careful! Looking at the picture, I surely understand why people are sick and tired of so many gadgets that are aimed at the fairer sex and I couldn’t blame anyone for having such an opinion, which, as a matter of fact, I am sharing with them.

Ok, people are different, which means they like all sorts of things, but this isn’t a justification for the bad taste. And they usually need something luxurious to make them feel different, to make them feel like leaving their mark on the things they use on a regular basis. The Ergo FashionNote mini-notebook is a laptop adorned with approximately 1,444 Swarovski crystals.
